The morning started early on November 26, 2013. Amelia woke up early around 2 am and joined us in our bed for the remainder of the night. Come around 3:35 am I hear Jack wake up which is not normal for him in the middle of the night. Thankfully Pa-Pa heard him and went in to sooth him and tell him to go back to sleep. The neat thing about Jack waking up at 3:35 am is that this was the exact time Amelia was born exactly one year ago.
So, I was able to take a picture of the sleeping birthday girl at the exact time she turned a 1 year old - 3:35 am.
We got a cookie cake for all of us to enjoy!

I put Amelia back into her party dress in an attempt to get a good picture of her in it since I didn't get a great one of her in it at the party. This is the best I could do. This girl is just a wiggle worm and hard to photograph right now. But it is what it is. She is a smiling, walking, dancing, happy one year old. :-)
On to the "Birthday Girl" outfit...still on the go.
Opening presents. Notice how it is Jack opening the presents. He was much more into it than Amelia was. She loved all the wrapping paper, tissue paper & ribbons.
GramPam & Pa-Pa were here to celebrate, too!
We took a trip to the mall for the kids to go for a ride on the carousel. Look at that happy birthday girl. Love her!
And the big brother sure enjoyed the celebrating as well.

We finished off the big day with a yummy dinner at Chuys. Such a fun day with our fun little girl!
