Last weekend we went for the first time to a mini beach in Little Elm off of Lake Lewisville. Not sure how we have lived so close to "the beach" for the last 5 years and have never been before. It was pretty cool - sand, water & sunshine! Ok, I titled this post "a day at the beach" but it should actually say something like "30 minutes at the beach." We weren't completely prepared to spend any long amount of time outside in the sun. We just wanted to get a feel for the place. We will definitely be going back with all our beach gear sometime soon!
Jack loved playing in the sand. Lots of other people were there in swimsuits swimming in the water. We will need to add swimsuits to our list for the next trip out there.
Us girls just watched the boys play.
So fun to have a little glimpse of a beach vacation on the sand and only be a short drive from home.
