Bluebonnets

We went to the bluebonnets again this year.  This years crop of bluebonnets was pretty poor, but we still got a few good pics.  We went at not the best time of day...when it was nice and sunny... so we basically have pictures of them looking down at the flowers (away from the sun). Still cutie pies though!

30

Somehow it happened.  I turned 30.  In my mind I really think I should just be turning 25. But that's ok.  It is what it is.  We had a fun day of celebrating! Barrett took the day off so we celebrated together.
He got me a yummy cookie cake.  It took me a little by surprise when I actually say the number 30 and my name written together for the first time on this cake. Sure tasted good though!
 Our family
Me with my 2 year old and 4 month old on my 30th birthday!
We went to take bluebonnet pictures (more pics to come)
We played at the playground
This was Amelia's first time in the swing at a playground. She loved it of course!
We went shopping for these new flowers for our hanging baskets outside.
 Barrett showered me with gifts.
We had a quick lunch at taco bell with my mom & Tara and dinner out at Outback.
Just so happened that Barrett got Amelia ready for bed in these pj's...I wore these when I was a baby....30 years ago! Crazy!!!

Life

It is the little things in life that really make life so much fun!
Examples:
 * Hammering ice cubes that were left over after daddy's fishing trip
 * Helping Mommy by throwing the laundry into the washing machine. He giggles with each piece of laundry he successfully gets into the machine.
I guess it is kind of like playing basketball.
 * Opening and eating a giant chocolate bunny!

 * Going on a bike ride with your best buddy Zach
 * Swinging outside on a beautiful day
 * Getting to play dress-up with my very own live baby doll

 * Rolling from back to tummy for the very first time at 4.5 months old
 * Playing more dress-up
 * Trying to figure out how to ride a tricycle....
....while choosing to wear rainboots on a perfectly beautiful and sunny day.
* Getting a kiss from Aunt Hannah all dressed up for prom.
I wouldn't want to trade these days for anything!

iPhone Picture Update

I'm not the best at uploading my phone pics.  Here is a conglomeration of random phone pics.
Amelia at the doctors office for her 4 month check-up.
 Wagon ride
 More Easter

No, she didn't really eat the cotton candy.  Just thought it looked pretty with her pink dress.
I recycled my old turquoise t-shirt and made it into a dress and flower clip for Amelia :-)
Pizza night at Cici's.  Jack LOVED it and ate 4 or 5 slices of pizza!
Amelia's 1st time to sit in the shopping cart.
It's nice having a double seat so Jack & Amelia can sit together.
Happy girl in her "rain" boots!
She has been really enjoying playing with (or should I say chewing on) her baby doll.
We went to a friends birthday party where they had a real monkey!

I found this cute little doll stroller at a garage sale last week and got it for Amelia to one day play with.  Well the other evening when I told Jack we were going to go out on a walk, he walked right to the door with this stroller and his superman action figure doll, all ready to go!
2 guys and their carriages. Love it!
 Amelia & Pepa
Amelia wore her 1st smocked dress to a yummy lobsterfest lunch at Red Lobster.  I was pretending we were on a cruise while enjoying my food.
We visited with Mimie & Papa for a morning.  Papa took Jack into his office to show him around all his pictures and gadgets.
 Jack riding a horse. Ha!
We had a spur of the moment late night "date night" in the car and got ice cream at McDonald's. Kind of nice that we still have Jack in his rear facing car seat.  He had no idea we were enjoying a yummy dessert up front without him.
