Jack's 1st Thanksgiving

For Jack's 1st Thanksgiving we went town to Houston to visit GramPam and Pa-Pa. Jack got his picture taken with "Spot". They are both just about the same height this year. I can't believe Jack is standing there not holding on. That is a very rare sight to see him balancing on his own.
Reading a book with GramPam

Nap time with Pa-Pa

Time to eat! We are all so nicely decorated with stickers from Preston!

Pies, Pies, and more Pies!!!! (along with some other yummy desserts.)

Getting cleaned up after a meal. He is smiling in this picture, but normally that is not a very happy face during clean up.

Chillin' on GramPam's leg

Happy Thanksgiving from this little turkey.

...and the back of the turkey shirt.

I made him his turkey shirt (found the idea on Pinterest.)

Time for the Thanksgiving Feast

Yum, Yum!

GramPam and Pa-Pa gave Jack this "Night Before Christmas" book that they recorded themselves reading. So now Jack can have this story read to him by his grandparents whenever he wants. What a fun idea!

Cousins - Mackenzie, Jack, and Preston

Our Family - Thanksgiving 2011

Jack sitting on Preston's lap watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

And now asleep on Preston's lap.

The guys got some projects done around the house while we were there.

Playing games and looking at Black Friday Ads (didn't end up doing any shopping though.)

Playtime

His shirt says "I'm Stuffed"

Jack's checking out those beautiful big yellow balls hanging off the tree otherwise known as LEMONS!

Crawling in the soft grass

The day after Thanksgiving and already in the Christmas Spirit!

Our little Santa Baby

We went out shopping (more just looking) on Friday at an old town with cute little shops then ate lunch out. We got the perfect table by the Christmas tree!

This is where we discovered that one of Jack's favorite foods right now is black eyed peas. Ha!

We are so thankful this year to have such a sweet little boy named Jack as our son! He is a true gift from the Lord!
